Union Plastica S.A.S. has developed a grow tray specifically for indigenous American trees, fruit trees, citrus trees, and coffee trees. These trays have technical advantages over more traditional growing systems and result in numerous benefits to the reforestation planter or grower.
The 12-cone grow tray is used for some species such as walnut, cedar, guaiacum, Colombian pine, oak, albizia saman, alder, and others.

Likewise, it can be used for planting citrus and fruit trees such as mango, avocado, banana, and soursop. It is also well suited to growing coffee trees. After initial germination the seedlings or cuttings are moved from the geminating tray to the grow tray and placed in groups in the nursery. This eliminates the need for plastic bags.
